About Us
Manlio Guidetti and his wife Patricia started the business from their London home in 1989.
With Manlio's passion and first hand knowledge of the most popular Italian food and Patricia's support, the business took off and their efforts proved over the years to be a big success, and as a Company has continued to widen the range of genuine Italian food that it offers to a variety of prestigious customers.
An important contribution to the development of the business has been made by their oldest daughter, Irene Guidetti, whose love of food comes from her Italian family roots. Irene is currently taking time out to raise her young family.
Today, Guidetti are a team operating from office and warehouse premises in sunny Peckham, south London, from where orders are despatched promptly to all our valued customers across Britain.
In the last 20 years, we at Guidetti have developed enduring relationships with our Italian suppliers, who represent most regions in the country. Thanks to their support, our knowledge of the lines we regularly stock, including some organic ones, has continued to grow and now we are more than happy to have the opportunity to pass this knowledge on to customers old and new who, like us, are dedicated to quality.
We are always committed to ensuring that our tradition of competent service and of sourcing some of the best Italian traditional food will continue far into the future.
