Grano saraceno is 100% Italian buckwheat flour and is gluten-free. It is used in northern Italy to make a kind of wholesome fettuccine called pizzoccheri, which is also available as ready-made pasta from our list. A nutty-tasting and nourishing flour which is often mixed with other types of flour when baking cakes, biscuits, or making pancakes and blinis. During hot weather, please store in a cool, dry place, preferably in the fridge.
