These long, organic plum tomatoes belong to the San Marzano variety but they are grown in Apulia, southern Italy. Grown only on La Motticella farmland, they are hand picked in August, when the fruit is fully ripened and processed on site at La Motticella farm. Gently cooked, peeled, and bottled, with only fresh basil leaves added to the juice. A wonderful product for making a delicious tomato sauce, or bruschetta, or eaten as a side dish straight from the jar.
